Being the owner of a pool and a hot tub I have gone to Lionsgate several times to test water and to verify some information. Each time I have gone in, I found the staff to be extremely helpful, especially with advice going forward, all at no charge. When I finally did need them as my hot tub had malfunctioned, they sent a service technician over named Michael for a diagnostic. I expected a check and then a follow-up visit with another charge. However, Michael not only diagnosed it but was able to repair it all well within an hour. What could have turned out to be a very expensive fix was instead a relatively small charge and a small inconvenience. This morning the hot tub is back to normal. I cannot recommend this company high enough. ~ peter k

Huge thank you to Lions Gate Pool and Spa. Nick, Jeff and Michal on the team were a huge help to us and our business. We run a small inn with a Japanese style bathhouse hot tub. We rely on the system to run well and consistently. The team stepped in when we needed them for a repair and went way above and beyond to help us get up and running. Jeff worked hard to come up with quick solutions and Michal, the repair tech on site was beyond professional working hard with expert knowledge to ensure the system was running perfectly and providing me with on the spot training/info. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Read: I live in OTTAWA and it was Friday at 5:15pm EST, all the pool shops were closed. I couldn't figure out how to operate my newly installed multicolor LED pool lights which is completely unacceptable. I did what any one of you would do, and that's call a random pool repair shop in a different timezone somewhere west of Ottawa where it isn't 5pm yet. That's how I found Lions Gate Pool and Spa. At first I wasn't sure if they would offer any assistance or even bother with my question but the man said he knew exactly what to do and that he would call me back in two minutes (obviously because they didn't want me being charged the long distance fees for the call). When Jeff called me back, he explained how to operate the lights within two minutes. Sounds like a great environment to work in and they seem to know what they are doing. I cannot recommend Lions Gate Pools highly enough. After meeting with a couple other pool companies and getting a lukewarm response (with exorbitant estimates!) to my job - refurbishment, repair, and ongoing maintenance of a 40-year-old swimming pool - I was thrilled to meet Jeff at Lions Gate. A fair and reasonable price, high-quality workmanship, and courteous and efficient service…all resulting in a functioning, glistening, nearly like-new pool! Jeff and his team are professional and highly responsive, always going above and beyond to ensure a happy customer, which we certainly are! 10/10 ~ Tamara M

Oh my gosh!!! Such great service! We had another company come out to clean out our hot tub earlier. After they left, it felt sticky to me. I called them back and they came back two days later. I can only assume, they did the same thing, bc it was still sticky after they left and after a few uses the water was cloudy. One friendly visit from the hard working crew at Lions Gate Pool and Spa and the stickiness and cloudiness is completely gone. It looks as good now as the day we had it installed! Adam, the service manager, was absolutely a pleasure to work with. He was very understanding of my situation and was able to perform a spectacular cleaning on my pool. Adam and his team come despite it is being raining, or any weather condition. They vacuumed the pool and remove any leaves. I am so happy to use my pool without any issue. It did take awhile for them to get back to me after first inspection, but to be honest it was all worth it. Jeff and his team are extremely professional, friendly and qualified for any job you may have. They helped us with numerous repairs and regular maintenance in a cost- and time-efficient manner. We have been so pleased to have the pool service help from Lions Gate Pool and Spa- they are so conscientious and so polite and friendly. I would highly recommend them. Our pool is surrounded by trees that drop a lot of leaf litter so previous pool cleaning companies had difficulty keeping the pool clean and the water clear- Lions Gate fellows happily vacuum and the water is always sparkling and clear. ~ Jane S

Why would anyone choose any other pool company? Jeff and his crew are reliable, friendly and super knowledgeable. They kept both the indoor and outdoor pools in peak condition. We have used another company for a while, and they weren't performing proper service (they would stay in our property for about 10 minutes) and never really took our request seriously. Since we have changed to Lions Gate their technician spend at least 45 min on site, and pay attention to what we request. The office team, Bianca and Gabi are great and always responsive. Lion’s Gate Pool & Spa saved our Canada Day! Its a day before the holiday and we’re panicking trying to find someone to clean our pool. Although they were fully booked, they were able to still send a technician to our house! I went to get some products from my usual place but forgot they were closed on mondays and needed something before Tuesday. I found Lions Gate Pool and Spas but they didn’t sell the particular brand I needed. I was advised that it may be best to stick to my brand that I use.
